The Furoma Region

Congratulations on your promotion to Grandmaster and we can finally leave that Mousoleum. Here in Furoma, there are tons of breeds to be discovered but before that, we need to make sure we complete a few things:-
  1. You've obtain a Shredded Furoma Map Piece from the Lycan Mouse. If you don't, get it now!
  2. You've saved about at least 500,000 gold. If you don't, it could be quite a struggle...
  3. You should be currently using Brie now. If you're not, head back to Town of Gnawnia and stock on hundreds of them, travel costs are much more expensive...
If you've completed them, good. Off to the Training Grounds!

The Training Grounds

Welcome to Furoma, from here hails the land of the mighty Tactical mice. Here at the Training Grounds, you'll get a sneak preview of the breeds here in the Furoma region. The General Store boasts plenty of crafting items. Unfortunately, you'll be encountering the regular Whites and Dwarfs. Before you come here, we'll need a tactical trap. We need.... the Mutated Venus Mouse Trap!

The Mutated Venus Mouse Trap
If you're still wondering how we'll get this wonderful trap then wonder no more! Just head off to the Great Gnarled Tree. If you're wondering where the Gnarled Tree is, read the Whisker Woods section. If you do, great. Head there and purchase the Venus Mouse Trap.

Like I said, you should save at least 400k of gold, because the Venus Mouse Trap itself costs about 300,000 gold. However, you're not gonna use it, you're going to upgrade it! That's right, we'll upgrade it into the Mutated Venus Mouse Trap. You're gonna smash it and add it with 20 Radioactive Sludge.

For those who still don't know what is radioactive sludge, it's the product of stale Radioactive Blue Cheese. Some of you might not have 20 Radioactive Sludge. If you don't, camp somewhere other than Mousoleum with your stalest setup, which is Sinister Portal + Explosive Base. Another option is to ask a friend to send some to you.

Mutated Venus Mouse Trap (Tactical)
Power: 2,300, Power Bonus: 15%, Attraction Bonus: -, Luck: 8, Cheese Effect: Insanely Stale
If you have crafted it, it's gonna gain the upper hand here since it's more powerful than that Zugzwang's Last Move and way cheaper! However, it comes with a price of an Insanely Stale Cheese Effect! So you better arm that Dehydration Base of yours.

The Bamboozler Base

Bamboozler Base
Power: 200, Power Bonus: 10%, Attraction Bonus: 5%, Luck: 0, Cheese Effect: Very Fresh
Speaking of bases, you might noticed the Bamboozler Base hanging about the Trapsmith. It's quite a nice base, actually. An even higher power bonus than the Explosive Base with a Very Fresh Cheese Effect makes it a good combination with the MVMT. However, it costs a slightly steep 90,000 gold! On my opinion, the Explosive Base does fairly fine in Furoma. Besides, were spending that 90,000 gold on another more important thing...

Ticket to the Burroughs Bazaar
Another reason you're here in TG is because you need another map piece. This map piece is the so- called   " Ticket to the Burroughs Bazaar ". This time, you can obtain the ticket from two different breeds, be it the Archer or the Kung Fu Mouse. Fortunately, these mice are quite common in the Training Grounds and they'll drop quite quickly. if you still don't have it, again, patience is the key...

Now, we'll have to do some shopping in the General Store, here we'll need to buy a few items. Some of you might not crafted the Dehydration Base yet, so just go ahead and buy some. You'll also need to buy these:-
  1. 15x Splintered Wood ( Yes, the TG has it all! )
  2. 3x Rice Paper
  3. 10x Nori
  4. 10x Burroughs Salmon
  5. 300x Curds and Whey ( Don't worry, they'll come quite cheap )
Altogether, they'll cost about 9,000 gold. Don't forget you'll still need another extra 90,000 gold for an important item. Feel free to save gold here. The new breeds will keep you in awe. If you have extra Radioactive Blue, feel free to hunt at the Mousoleum for more gold.

If you're ready, were heading to the Bazaar!

The Burroughs Bazaar

Here in the Bazaar, the mice are almost the same as the Town of Digby, except for the Burglar. Nothing much to hunt for here... but were still here for something. Anyway, let's get into business...

Fixing the Furoma Map
Yes, were gonna fix that Shredded Furoma Map of yours. The Bazaar is one of the few locations in the game to house a Cartographer. Unfortunately, the map costs 90,000 gold. I hope you didn't use that gold to buy that Bamboozler, because you're gonna fork it over to that over-costing cartographer. The Cartographer also needs 24 hours to fix that map.

Meanwhile the Cartographer is fixing that map, you cannot enter the Furoma region which means that you can't go to the Training Grounds. Here are a few options for the next 24 hours:-
  • Go to the Laboratory and farm more potions. You'll need more later. Arm your luckiest setup and go. If you're looking for more of a challenge, arm Radioactive Cheese as bait and be well-prepared for the Monster!
  • Go to the Great Gnarled Tree. It houses plenty of breeds to admire and you can get a good head start in the Whisker Woods region.
  • If you have any remainder Radioactive Blue left, feel free to hunt at Mousoleum and earn some more gold.
Don't worry about your map, it won't expire if you don't retrieve it after 24 hours.

Crafting Items
Like the Training Grounds, the Bazaar's General Store is boasting with plenty of crafting items as the eye can see! Were gonna shop till we drop! Let's see.... we'll take:-
  • 15x Paint-Brand-Paint
  • 15x Cheesy Fluffs
  • 15x Invisi-Glue
  • 7x Ionized Salt
  • 8x Droid Parts
Altogether the total might cost about 80,000 gold. Yes, it's quite expensive. To those hunter who are broke, you can always buy the Droid Parts later. The Bazaar will not disappear.

The Dojo
Welcome to the Dojo, the mice here are tougher than in the Training Grounds. Thank to the Fixed Furoma Map, you'll be able to access the extra locations of the Pagoda. The good thing is that you won't encounter any Whites or Dwarfs. Pray that you'll like it here, you're gonna camp out here for quite a long while, if you're lucky...

The Students
Here in the Dojo, you're required to catch three different breeds. As you see, they are students which hail from three different schools. They're called the Student of the Cheese Claw, Student of the Cheese Belt and the Student of the Cheese Fang. They drop a very important loot known as tokens of their respective schools. You're gonna need plenty of these tokens.

You might find that Brie doesn't attract much of the students, so what to do? Fortunately, we have a special bait which will increase attraction of the students.

Recipe:-
1x Nori + 3x Magic Essence + 3x Curds and Whey
= 3 pieces of Maki.
If you have plenty of SB+ to spare, craft it. Anyway, this bait doesn't 100% attract the students, it just gives it a little attraction boost. This bait isn't gonna make catching them easier too.

If you've think you've collected enough tokens, then were off to the Meditation Room!

The Meditation Room

Welcome to the Meditation Room, it is in here that the Masters of the three schools reside. Yes, you'll have to get the Masters of the three schools. Arm your Mutated Venus with the Explosive, the high attraction rate of the Masters' bait won't have much effect on the Stale Cheese Effect.

You're gonna craft three very special bait, the Susheese, Glutter and Combat Cheese

1. Susheese (attracts Master of the Cheese Claw)
3x Curds and Whey + 1x Burroughs Salmon + 1x Nori + 3x Token of the Cheese Claw
= 3 pieces of Susheese

2. Glutter Cheese (attracts Master of the Cheese Belt)
7x Curds and Whey + 1x Cheesy Fluffs + 1x Invisi-Glue + 3x Token of the Cheese Belt
= 3 pieces of Glutter

3. Combat Cheese (attracts Master of the Cheese Fang)
5x Curds and Whey + 1x Paint-Brand-Paint + 1x Splintered Wood + 3x Token of the Cheese Fang
= 3 pieces of Combat

The masters are stronger than the students at the Dojo. However, you're gonna only need to catch one Master of each school. When you catch one Master, immediately switch your bait to catch the other Master. Remeber, we'll only need one Master from each school!

Crafting The Ambush
The Ambush is a powerful Tactical trap that will make your hunting in Furoma much more easir.

Recipe:-
1x Ambush Trap Blueprints + 3x Rice Paper+ 8x Droid Parts + 5x Splintered Wood + 1x Master's Seal

The Droid Parts, like I said before, is at the Bazaar and quite expensive, it's a good idea to get them now. To get the Master's Seal, you must combined the Shards dropped by the three masters.

The Blueprints
The Blueprints is the tricky part of the Ambush, a few breeds in the Furoma drops them. Here are a few options on how to get the Ambush Trap Blueprints:-

  • The Assassin. This mouse is actually one of the strongest breeds in Furoma, so you might have a hard time catching it in the Dojo. If you happen to run by one with the Blueprints, congratulations.
  • The Worker mice will also drop the Blueprints. However, this breed are especially attracted only to Super| Brie+. If you're not using SB+, then don't expect to see much of this mouse.
  • Once in a while, you might find yourself with the Hapless. You'll notice this mouse doesn't give much in both gold and points. However, if you need an easy way to get the Blueprints, head to the Meditation Room or the Pinnacle Chamber. Any normal bait from Cheddar to Brie will attract this mouse. Although, it's not a guarantee drop, it's eaier to obtain the Blueprints.
On my opinion, you should go for the Hapless. Yes, it's not a 100% drop gurantee, but the Hapless falls quickly to your trap. Assassin doesn't really come to your trap often and is a tough mouse. Workers are extremely rare and you'll be wasting precious Super|Brie. Be it a few horns or one day, go for the Hapless.

Ambush (Tactical)
Power: 3,000, Power Bonus: 5%, Attraction Bonus: -, Luck: 12, Cheese Effect: Fresh
Once you have the crafted the Ambush, good for you. With the Ambush farming tokens from students would be much easier.

If you plan to use it in the Dojo to farm tokens, it is up to you what base you should arm. The Dehydration and Explosive should do equally well in the Dojo.

If you've collected enough tokens, craft as much Susheese, Glutter and Combat as you can and go get shards from the masters.

Once you've collected enough Master Shards, were gonna head to the Pinnacle Chamber

The Masters of the Pinnacle Chamber!

So, it is here that your Furoma journeys are about to come to an end. I hope you saved enough Master Shards, because you're gonna need all the shards you can get. No, were not gonna craft the Master's Seal again.

The Master of the Dojo
Here in the Pinnacle Chamber, arm your Explosive Base and we'd better get crafting with a new bait.
Recipe:-
1x Master Claw Shard + 1x Master Belt Shard + 1x Master Fang Shard + 1x Ionized Salt + 20x Curds and Whey
= 3 pieces of Rumble Cheese

With the Rumble Cheese armed, you are now ready to battle the Master of the Dojo (nicknamed Mojo). Bear in mind that he is not gonna fall easily so you'd better stock up on Rumbles. Pray that you're lucky and that you can bring him down. Fortunately, you'll only need one.

If you ran out of Rumble before capturing him, go back to the Dojo and farm more tokens to craft more Susheese/Glutter/Combat, then collect the shards from the masters to craft more Rumble

If you've finally got one, you'll find the rewards outstanding. With an amount of 15,000 points and 27,300 gold! Other than that, it drops a very important loot, an Onyx Stone! With this, you can craft an extremely strong trap!!

Now that you've caught the Master of the Dojo, feel free to head to Whisker Woods to prepare for Rodentia or you can explore the darker parts of the Mousoleum which is also known as the Bristle Woods!

Other than that, you can challenge yourself and catch the Sensei. However, it is recommended to do this when you get a more powerful Tactical trap than the Ambush.

The Sensei
You might have noticed that you've left out on the legendary Dojo Sensei also nicknamed sojo by. The Sensei is only be attracted to one special bait. But what could be strong enough to attract it?? Simple: It's something that's as old as this old guy, the Onyx Gorgonzola!

Recipe:-
1x Onyx Stone + 6x Ionized Salt + 60x Curds and Whey
= 3 pieces of Onyx Gorgonzola

This bait is actually quite hard to get since getting the Onyx Stone is burden enough! However, there is another cheaper way to get plenty of Onyx Gorgonzola. The only way is to have an Unstable Curd!

Recipe:
1x Curds and Whey + 1x Ionized Salt + 1x Onyx Stone
= 1 Unstable Curd

The Unstable Curd is actually a piece of curd which can be poked in the Special tab in your inventory. If you "poke" it, it might yield a few Onyx Gorgonzola or a different type of cheese e.g Swiss, Brie, etc.

The special part is that it can yield up to 12 pieces per "poke"! This is actually quite a popular way for people to receive more Gorgonzola since crafting the curd is cheaper.

To know what bait the Unstable Curd has, click here.

For your traps, Ambush is out of the Sensei's league. If you plan on catching it, it is recommended you craft a more power Tactical trap such as the Horrific Venus Mouse Trap or the Zugzwang's First Move. For the base, you should also come back with a more powerful base.

With your strongest Tactical weapon and base, you should still cross your fingers as the Sensei is still a very tough mouse!

However, once you get the Sensei, he's worth way more than what the Master of the Dojo could get you. He also drops the Onyx Mallet blueprints, allowing you to craft the Onyx Mallet, a good Physical trap.

Recipe:-
1x Onyx Mallet Blueprints + 10x Tiny Platinum Bars + 12x Onyx Stones
= 1 Onyx Mallet

Onyx Mallet (Physical)
Power: 3,800, Power Bonus: 12%, Attraction Bonus: -, Luck: 6, Cheese Effect: Stale
A good Physical trap for a Grandmaster. However, the Platinum Bars costs a total of 600,000 gold and farming for 12 Onyx Stones is no easy task if you're using the Ambush. Instead, the gold used on this thing should be put to good use in the Bristle Woods region, so crafting it isn't recommended.

If you're that desperate for a better Physical weapon, the Digby Drillbot is a better option. Sold in the Town of Digby, it's stats with the mallet are comparable and it's a much cheaper option.
